So I've been listening to this song by Justin Timberlake for the past 3 weeks. It's been on loop. I really like it and as much as I hate to admit it, I keep imagining that a guy who loves me deeply (and who I choose to be pakipot with) is singing that to me.

One devo time, I accidentally played it on my phone. Was supposed to hit stop when something in me said not to. So I listened to it.

And then I realized that there is in fact a guy who loves me deeply singing this exact song to me.

It was Jesus all along.

Isn't that what Jesus wants? That I come to Him each and everyday. He wants a daily communion with me.
And is it too much to ask for every Sunday?
And while we're at it throw in every other day to start
Well Sunday is a part of everyday but it's a bit more special coz that's when I go to church :) But then again I work in church so I really am with Him every Sunday.

I know people make promises all the time

Saksak puso tulo ang dugo. How often have I trusted people and ended up betrayed? How often have I loved someone who ended up hurting me? Though we are relational people, sad news is, we could get hurt and disappointed. But…

I am a living testimony of how Jesus heals our hearts. I have a new life in Him and though it took me long, it's true that He did not stop until I believed it. And the kilig part..

Coz baby you're worth it. 
I was worth His life. I was worth dying on the cross for. Good thing He was raised to life again. He is in fact my Savior.

So don't act like it's a bad thing to fall in love with me

It's true that no amount of wealth, success, power and even people can satisfy us. We'll always, always feel incomplete. But Jesus can fill that void in our hearts that nothing and no one else can fill. So might as well indulge in loving Him. Every day.
