For the longest time, One More Chance has been my favorite JLC movie. I watched it over and over and even cried over and over it. But last night, it met its match: My Amnesia Girl.
I'm a fan of JLC and I'm a fan of Toni's wit and humor. But I never thought that they have such awesome chemistry together. The movie made me laugh, made me cry, it made me super kileg! And unlike some reviews I've read, it's not at all a rip-off from 50 First Dates (my ultimate favorite romantic comedy). The plot is way different and honestly, I like MAG better. I've never had so many favorite scenes in just one movie. Hands down, this is the best movie I've seen this year. And ironically, My Amnesia Girl is actually very unforgettable. Two thumbs (and I'll include my toes if I can) to the screenplay writers, Carmi Raymundo, Jade Castro and Miguel Sevilla; to the director Cathy Garcia-Molina and of course for the expected outstanding performances of JLC and Toni (naaaks, close kame? Haha).
I will watch it again. And I will buy the DVD so I can watch it over and over and over and over..
