Had enough?

If two people are in love, but just can't seem to get it together, when do you get to the point of enough is enough? That's what Sam asked Jerry in The Mexican and it got me to thinking too. It is possible for two people to be in love yet disagree at almost everything. Or for two people in love to have different priorities. People are in fact different and that's why these things happen. That's why sometimes, they just can’t seem to get it together. As much as you want it, you will never find anyone in this world who is exactly the same as you. You may be alike in some ways, but there will always be that habit, or that food, or that book that you will never agree on. And it could lead to a fight debating about whose opinion is right.

But cliché as it may sound, love should in fact conquer all. That's when you learn to compromise. Or to accept him for whatever he is, or for however idiotic his ideas are. That is when you learn to value the differences because these are the things that in actuality compliment you as two persons in love. And admit it or not, these are the things that you will miss when you let each other go. I guess that, sometimes, is what makes you love that person… that despite these annoying quirks, at the end of the day, you still think that this person is the perfect one for you.

So when asked if two people are in love, but just can't seem to get it together, when do you get to the point of enough is enough? Jerry had the right answer: Never.
