I'm excited to blow a candle, open a present, smile at a greeter, like an FB post and do all the awesome things people do on their birthday.
But my favorite part is looking back at the past year and realizing how far I've come. And I can't help but be amazed at how many, many, MANY things can happen in just one year.
I have new friends, lost some, organized events, drove a lot, spent a lot, laughed a lot, cried a lot, slept a lot, worked a lot, ate a lot, jogged a lot, read a lot, instagram-ed a lot, changed a lot and remained the same a lot.
God has truly taken me from one point to another and has shown His grace, power and love in my life in more ways than one. Left alone to myself I surely mess up. But I have Him in my life now and that has made all the difference. One year. One changed life.
And I just thank God that though I'm not exactly where I want to be, I know I am not where I used to be.
All glory and honor to His name. Thank you, Lord for another year Ü
